David Broyles is a guitarist, vocalist, composer/arranger and a 15-year veteran of the music industry.  He has a B.F.A. in Contemporary Music Performance from The College of Santa Fe located in Santa Fe, N.M.  His work with his band Dr. Pants has been featured on several MTV programs, including “Jersey Shore,” as well as “CBS Sunday Morning” and BBC World Cup Soccer.

In 2010, Dr. Pants collaborated with filmmaker Kyle Roberts on “Sarsparilla Girl,” one of the first music videos shot entirely on an iPhone.  The video has garnered over 60,000 views on YouTube to date.  In 2012, Dr. Pants was invited to perform a webcast concert in the bathroom of Jenny Lawson, also known as “The Bloggess,” author of the New York Times bestselling memoir “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.”  The webcast was viewed by over 2,000 people and turned Dr. Pants into a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.

David has spent much of the last five years on tour as a guitarist with his wife K.C. Clifford, award-winning Folk/Americana singer-songwriter.  He is excited to bring all of his experience as a songwriter, recording artist and performer to the ACM@UCO as a full-time faculty member after having spent two years as an adjunct lecturer.
