Chris Hicks hails from Oklahoma City, where he earned such honors as Musician of the Year from 1989 through 1991.  He plays saxophone and guitar in every music style from jazz and R&B to country.

Chris’ musical talent led him to Nashville in 1993 where he joined RCA recording artists Restless Heart for two years and was in the motion picture “Maverick” starring Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster.  This gave Chris the opportunity to be on the “Maverick” soundtrack and was Chris’ first master recording session with producer Josh Leo.  In 1995, Chris joined Reba McEntire’s band, touring throughout the U.S. as well as Europe, Australia and Brazil, until the year 2000.

Chris has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” A&E’s “Live By Request,” two CBS Reba Specials, the ACM Awards, and the CMA Awards.  He was recorded on Reba’s Grammy-nominated single “On My Own” with Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood, in addition to a Kenny Rogers 2002 release.  He has also performed live with Sara Evans, Brooks and Dunn, and jazz trumpet great Chet Baker.
