The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma (ACM@UCO) is a fully credited contemporary music program occupying 25,000 square feet of campus with over 350 full-time students.
ACM@UCO is all about the music and creating a “real world” educational experience for our students. By introducing students to the music industry through auditions, performances and networking opportunities, ACM@UCO is the premier connection to the music industry in the region. Located in downtown Oklahoma City in the thriving Bricktown District, ACM@UCO is the only Academy of Contemporary Music in the United States and is in partnership with the original ACM located in Guildford, UK. ACM@UCO students are taught by accomplished musicians, performance experts and business professionals and can earn degrees in Music Performance, Music Production and/or Music Business. Students also have the opportunity to learn from today's leading music industry professionals through the ACM@UCO Masterclass Series. The series has featured artists including Ted Dwane and Ben Lovett of Mumford and Sons, Nile Rodgers of Chic and collaborator with Daft Punk, songwriter/pianist Ben Folds, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne, among others.
The ACM@UCO faculty and staff are comprised of accomplished musicians, performance experts and business professionals passionate about helping students learn and achieve their goals. Through small class sizes and one-on-one interaction with students, our faculty and staff makes the success of students the number one priority.
